Many things happen in life. But those that stand out enough to leave a deep impression may really put a smile on your face or tear up your heart. Sometimes its both. But for me, its usually the latter. People will tell stories comparing women and men from Venus and from Mars. But today I will share about only the women. Those from Venus. And what happens on Venus.
On Venus, my life circles with 6 other girls. Let me introduce them. Gemini, Agalia, Rant, Veridis, Adan and Gemini. Did I make a mistake by repeating twice? No, not really. One is pronounced Jeh-mee-nai and the other is Jeh-mee-nee. Well, that is that but I believe we are seen as 'close' by others and some of us may even think that way but I am sure there is conflict between us no matter how hard one tries to deny it. If I were to choose one to start with, I'd start with Rant. I have many things to rant about Rant.
Things were alright on Venus when we led our own separate lives with equal standing. But ever since Aphrodite stepped down and chose those to take her place, things started to change. Things may have gotten into her head. Bad things. Unnecessary things. She need not do certain things yet to fulfill her own satisfaction, she'd do things knowing or unbeknownst to her would upset and anger those around her. If she was a bit more willing to change in benefit to those who are seen as her 'friends', things would not be so sour. Suggestions are seen as defiance. Inquiry are seen as useless. But without knowing what to do how are we to do it? Sometimes I am grateful to have Adan around. Rant only sees Adan's words as rational. No one else. When i was saying about how she should change, I really meant it. She has trouble hearing our words so I asked her how is it that you are able to hear Aphrodite's words? She replies "I pay attention when she talks". Meaning to say, she treat our words as nothing to not pay any attention to it? I make Rant to seem as if she is horrible but she isn't as bad as it sounds. She just expects you to speak loudly to her in a silence demanding situation and will reply you with an inaudible answer if you got her to hear what you said. She also disregards your better opinion and suggestions and gives her 'superior' alternative. As a result, we held a seminar for freshman sprites in a cubicle. 9 people in the cramped space fit for three people to pee. With many stuff in there. She isn't that bad am I right?
Although I may be grateful when Adan is around, it is only when Rant is around. When Adan and Agalia are together, that is a different story. Together, they are the most vile creatures alive. Jealousy and rivalry always exist. Not between them but they themselves put it between them and other people. I have the right to say that our freshmen are masochists. Since no matter how harsh those two treat them they say that those two are the nicest and the best mentors. However unbeknownst to them, the two mentors are the most volatile substances ever. Their outbursts could even be the cause of destruction on Earth in the country Indonesia? Anyways the worst of the two may be Agalia..
Agalia is in one word a hypocrite. Another word two-faced. Not to mention her jealousy is unrivaled. A simple conversation with a passing martian would spark anger and turn her face sour. To be continued...
